Ripley Auctions will present its first Fine Art + Design Auction of 2013 on Thursday, January 24. The auction, which will offer more than 200 lots of fine and decorative art, is built around the expertise of company owner Dan Ripley and St. Louis art dealer Thom Pegg. The sale will feature a broad selection of important works in a variety of styles and mediums including American paintings, Indiana Art, Modern Art and Design, and Italian glass art.

The January auction will also introduce a new area of specialization for the company with a substantial section of lots by many of the American Studio Glass movement’s most influential artists. Significant works by Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, Harvey Littleton, Joel Philip Meyers, Richard Marquis and Paul Stankard will be offered for sale, among others.

The auction will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 6 pm EST.
