LOT 311Exquisite Black Silk Jet Beaded 1920s Detail DressEstimate: $100 - $200 Realized: $0 Exquisitely well made Black silk beaded dress, ca. early 1920s. Black jet beads in multiple shapes and sequins arranged in a floral motif. 3/4 length beaded tulle sleeves. Square neckline with pleated tulle bodice. Beaded tulle panels skirt over satin lining. Applied pink velvet roses at hip. 17" sleeves. 36" bust, 36" drop waist, 48 1/2" length from shoulder. A few loose/dangling/missing beads. Small holes or pulling in skirt, and shoulder from stress. Area of slight fading at hip. Beautifully made period example. |
