Antique Baroque style, Renaissance Revival beaded firescreen panel with brass clamp and mounts, ca. mid 19th Century. Central medallion featuring an Angel bearing fruit and carrying a cherub holding a torch on her back. "Gold" area around medallion comprised of needlework. 23" x 19". Heavy silk lining on back looks original. 1" diameter of early replaced knotting in gold area left, center. Tends to loose edge beads. Overall very good condition. Sold as-is.
