William Forsyth (American, 1854-1935), four charcoal sketches on paper including two rural scenes, an interior window, and a docked boat; largest image 83/4" x 12". Forsyth served as a major figure in the Hoosier School of painters, exhibiting with T.C. Steele, Otto Stark, Richard Gruelle and J. Ottis Adams.
