Elnatham Taber American tall case clock; mfg. first quarter 19th C. in Roxbury, Mass. Taber worked as apprentice to Simon Willard. Constructed with pine, mahogany veneers, and satinwood parquetry inlays; hand painted iron face with moon's phase set in the arch ; turned finials; free standing fluted columns on bonnet; fluted quarter columns on case. 93"H. Good, old restoration.
